HirBestand - Inventory Management

HirBestand, written in Borland Delphi, is a system to control the inventory of raw material for production processes. It’s a combination of several smaller applications which journalise the consumption of material and automatically orders new material if needed. It works together with production plants of different manufactures. The data is stored in a Pervasive database.

The applications send their status reports via email and communicate with each other using a communication program running as a windows service on the database server.

Parts of the system can be configured remotely via email.
